Fundraising Coordinator

We are looking for a Fundraising Coordinator to join our Income Generation team, supporting our work with Major Donors, Corporate Partners, and Trusts & Foundations.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly organised, people-focused, and motivated by making a real difference. Working closely with senior fundraisers, you will play a key role in helping to build strong, long-term relationships with supporters and ensuring they receive excellent stewardship and a positive experience.

You don’t need to be an expert in all areas, we’re looking for someone with the right skills, attitude, and a willingness to learn.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting the delivery of major donor, corporate, and trust fundraising activity
  • Helping to research and prepare donor proposals, funding applications, and reports
  • Coordinating meetings, events, communications, and follow-up actions
  • Ensuring supporters are thanked and kept informed about the impact of their support
  • Maintaining accurate records and income tracking on our CRM system
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across fundraising, marketing, finance, and services

About you

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

  • Experience of managing and working with fundraising databases
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident in written communication and able to adapt your tone for different audiences
  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Proactive, reliable, and keen to develop a career in fundraising
  • Passionate about supporting a cause that really matters

Experience in fundraising or the charity sector is helpful but not essential — we welcome applications from people with transferable skills and a genuine interest in relationship-based fundraising.

Why work with us?

  • The chance to be part of a supportive and collaborative fundraising team
  • Opportunities to learn and develop across major donors, corporate partnerships, and trusts
  • Flexible working options where possible
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful difference to patients, families, and carers

Benefits

  • 27 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Pension and life assurance schemes
  • Employee Assistance Programme for health and wellbeing support
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Health Service Discounts
  • Refer a friend bonus

We reserve the right to close this job earlier if sufficient applications are received, so please apply early to avoid disappointment.

Successful applicants will be required to undertake a DBS check.
