We are looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to support our growing e‑commerce operation.
In this role, you will utilise your skills to assist with creating clothing mystery bags, listing items on vinted and occasionally help sort through donated books.
We ask you to commit to at least one regular half-day weekly session.
AM: 9am to 12pm
PM: 1pm to 4pm
We are looking for volunteers to help us on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Additionally all day Thursday.
What you'll be doing:
- Sorting & Selecting: Sort through clothing stock to curate and create exciting Mystery Bags and review old DVDs and media items (Primary Task).
- Stock Rotation: Assist in identifying and removing older stock to keep our inventory fresh (Primary Task).
- Organising: Keep the e‑commerce work area neat, tidy, and organised.
- Ad-Hoc E-commerce Support (As Needed):
- Photographing and creating listings for Vinted.
- Ensuring product descriptions include measurements, sizing, and condition.
- Researching approximate pricing for clothing, books, media, or miscellaneous items.
- Supporting with the organisation of donated books.
Your skills & abilities:
- Strong attention to detail: Especially when checking item conditions, sorting media, and creating mystery bags.
- Efficiency & Organisation: Ability to sort items effectively and follow guidelines for stock removal.
- Team Player: Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and pivot to different tasks (like listing or book sorting) when required.
- Good communication: Written communication skills for occasional item descriptions.
- Interests: An interest in fashion, media/entertainment, books, and online shopping is a plus, but not required!

Am I eligible to volunteer?
We ask that our volunteers are:
- At least 18 years old
- Live within an easy commute to the area
- Interested in volunteering for at least 6 months for at least 3 hours per week

All appointments are at the discretion of the management team and are subject to a one-month trial period for both parties.
